If you take a multi-vitamin and mineral pill to help supplement the nutrients you may not be getting through your diet, how do you know if it is effective? With so many brands to choose from, is there really a difference?
Now thanks to new technology available for the first time in the El Toro, in about four minutes you can get an assessment that will tell you if your supplements are working. Measuring your body's antioxidant levels is as simple as wrapping your hand around a scanner that is about the size of a football. At the same time, you can learn why experts rate some supplement brands higher than others.
Using new non-invasive laser technology, a device called a biophotonic scanner can measure the level of antioxidants in your body through your palm. The scanner was developed by the University of Utah with support and funding by the National Science Foundation.
"It's been said that the amount of antioxidants you maintain in your body is directly proportional to how long you're going to live. In the future, knowing your antioxidant level could be as important as knowing your cholesterol level," says Tarnya Betts, the Pharmanex Independent Distributor offering the scans.
The Biophotonic Scanner will be at The Snooker Cafe in El Toro from 6.00 pm on the 29th January, where she will make biophotonic scans available to attendees for just 10€. “Now you can test your Antioxidant level just as readily as you would test your cholesterol levels.” Said Tarnya
Tarnya admits that she was initially skeptical about the scanner's validity, but became convinced of its usefulness after learning that it had been scrutinized by scientists across the globe. "The scanners put an accountability factor into antioxidant supplements that previously never existed," she says.
One Health Professional commented that, "The supplements my family and I take are not the cheapest available but we are willing to pay for quality. We have a real comfort level that we can measure the positive effectiveness of the supplements we are putting into our bodies using the biophotonic scanner technology."
In addition to being scanned, on the day, attendees can enjoy for themselves the incredible 10 minute Galvanic II treatments. Ladies (and Gents!) familiar with paying 60 to 120 euros for galvanic facials will marvel at the effects they can achieve in the comfort and privacy of their own home, in 10 minutes and for less than 10€ per treatment.
Experts predict that the wellness/anti-aging industry, already valued at over 200 billion Euros a year, will become a trillion euro industry over next 10 years. "People are becoming more conscious about their health and quality of life. We feel we're setting a new standard for quality, and employing the newest technology with our scanner and the incredible Galvanic Spa II," says Tarnya.
Also on display whilst you enjoy the complimentary refreshments will be the wonderful stories of our work to eliminate world hunger through the Nourish The Children programme. NTC will be showing a video and offering raffle tickets, the proceeds from which will feed yet more hungry children.

Did you know that when we breath oxygen, it interacts with certain molecules in our bodies to create free radicals and that these free radicals damage important cellular structures such as DNA and cell membranes?
Well, it is true and this damage may cause cells to function poorly and mutate. Free radical damage may lead to disease and aging. We are exposed to huge amounts of free radicals from pollution, smoking and pesticides. Every time you breathe, you take in millions of free radical molecules created by cigarette smoke, radiation, and vehicle emissions. Every time you eat, you consume free radicals in the form of pesticides and preservatives.
This is where antioxidants come in. Our bodies have a natural defense system against these free radicals. Our immune system creates antioxidants which are able to neutralize free radicals and prevent much cellular damage. We also get many of our antioxidants from sources such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, some meat, poultry and fish. Antioxidants are said by some scientists to help prevent heart disease, eye deterioration and even cancer cell creation!
You owe it to yourself to know the level of protection you have at present and what can be done to improve this.
The Biophotonic Scanner takes 4 minutes to analyse your antioxidant levels using a none invasive, simple blue laser. The cost of the test on the night will be just 10€ and free refreshments will be provided. |
